In 2019 I worked on a new feature for Microsoft Whiteboard that would enable a variety of different snapping behaviors on the canvas. Since there were a lot of variables that were difficult to “feel” without having them implemented, I took a day to quickly mock up a prototype in Javascript that would help us get a feel for these different types of snapping and good default values.
